Update

No new pictures right now, but I should have some more up in the next few weeks. I can tell each week that I am growing, both by my clothes getting tighter and feeling my stomach stretching!! I put on a shirt for work last week and the poor thing didnt even make it to my waistband!! We are definitely growing in the middle!! Anyway, things are going well for all of us. I had my 22 week appointment this week and the doctor said everything looks great. I can feel the baby move now and have been enjoying this over the past few weeks. He gets really busy when we are trying to go to sleep though:) Silas also felt him move for the first time last week, so that was pretty special as well. Ive been told to enjoy this part, since it will start to hurt when he gets bigger and actually starts kicking and punching me!! I am feeling great right now and trying to enjoy that as well. Ive lost the ability to bend at the waist easily, so I am really excited for warmer weather and being able to lose the socks and shoes that tie....bring on the flip flops!! Overall things are going really well, and Im still amazed at how quickly the time has gone by.
Everything else is good in our lives right now. We are constantly re-evaluating things in our lives, as having a baby tends to make you do!! We are leaning toward moving in the near future, just to a bigger house so we have some room to grow into. Our house now is great, but quickly shrinking, and we are losing our ability to have guests due to the nursery. Since our families live in different states, having that extra room is important to us and not something we really want to live without. So we have begun the search for a new home, and are also exploring the possibility of building. Of course its a very stressful time to do this, but I know it will be for the best in the long run. We would greatly appreciate any prayers on our behalf in this area, as it is a major decision to say the least. We are probably going to sell the motorcycle as well, so if you know anyone looking for an almost new bike with under 1,000 miles on it, let me know:)
Other than the stress we add to ourselves, everything is great! The changing of seasons reminds me that summer is around the corner and our little one will be here sooner than we know:)

Pregnant Pictures Attempt 500

I really hope these silly things show up this time! Anyway, here are a few of my pregnant pictures. We usually take one on Sunday mornings before church, so they should be of every couple of weeks, starting with the earliest to most recent. The white shirt one was taken today. I am finally hearing people say..."oh you finally look pregnant!!" I am starting to enjoy my belly more too. I have picked up a new habit that Silas finds absolutely hilarious...when I am thinking, I will stand there and start to rub my belly with both hands. Silas dies laughing every time I do it, and has named it my Buddha belly. He thinks I rub it like a magic lamp to get what I want!!

LCSW

WHooooHoooo!!! I passed my licensing exam yesterday and am now officially a LCSW! For those who don't know, that is the highest license I can have in my field without getting a PhD in something. I had to complete 2 years of supervised full time work following graduate school to be eligible to take the test. I actually finished my supervision back in fall of 2006, but with getting pregnant and all, have not managed to find a spare moment to study and prepare for this test until now. Boy am I glad it's over!!! When I was in college I never thought I would even go to grad school, and then in grad school I was certain I would not work full time for 2 years, so I certainly never thought this day would come. But I am glad that I went ahead and started my supervision when we moved to Searcy, or I would have worked almost 3 years here at Families Inc and still not had my license!! Things have definitely worked out well professionally, and for that I am grateful.
So what does this license mean for me in the future? Well, first off it gives me a lot more flexibility and opportunity work wise. I can now become a contract worker since I no longer require supervision, which means I dont have to work full time once the baby is born this summer:) That was my main objective in getting it. I also can now supervise others who are working toward this license, and could have my own private practice if I wanted (I dont). Mostly it just gives me a higher qualification and allows me to have more options in the field. The best part of it is that I never have to take another licensing test again as long as I keep this one current!! That puts the biggest smile on my face:) I also wanted to mention that a co-worker and I took the test together and we both passed! We also did our 2 year supervision together, so this was a big and wonderful accomplishment to be able to share with someone:) Good job Helen!!! Now the only thing I have to get used to is writing LCSW after my name instead of LMSW:)
