Jace Turns 3!

 I guess it's better late than never!  I am only a month behind in posting on Jace's birthday:)  My sweet baby is so not a baby anymore.  Silas made him an awesome cake that was a treasure map.  Jace loved it!!
 Jace requested a "pirate party" so we had fun decorating the house the night before his birthday.
He was so excited about his big boy pirate puzzle. 
My sweet boss loves my kiddos and brought over some fun pirate stuff as a surprise.  The boys just loved this fun pirate cut-out and took turns making tough pirate faces:) 
 ARRRGGGHHHH!!
 We went with Jake and the Neverland Pirates for a theme and Jace loved it:)
No party is  complete without eye patches!  We had such a fun day celebrating our little guy and how big he is getting.  Some days it is hard for me to believe I don't have any babies anymore.  Happy 3rd Birthday Jace!!

I'm 33!

 I have tried to post several different times and the pictures would never load, but it finally worked this time:)  Anyway, I celebrated my 33rd birthday in the middle of August.  I got two new pairs of running shoes for my birthday, since they were buy one get one half off! I didn't have a cake this year, but we made a pan of brownies and the boys had fun sticking candles in them for me to blow out.  I had a low key day and my best gift was a little peace and quiet that Silas gave me by taking the boys out and letting me relax at home:)  I just can't say enough good things about my 30's so far!  I have absolutely loved this decade and am really enjoying my place in life right now.  I am so thankful for all my blessings and the wonderful life that God has blessed me with.
