Happy Fall!

We had been waiting for a beautiful fall day to head to Peebles Farm in Augusta for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch.  Last weekend shaped up to be a great one, so we made plans to go.  My family was sweet to wait patiently for me to get my run done that morning, 18 miles, before we headed out.
We had a great time enjoying all of the nature together.  The boys learned how to pick cotton with Dad.
Jace posed next to the "Do Not Throw Cotton" sign.....
And of course threw the cotton!!
 How cute is he??!
Silas took a few random pictures of me while the boys played.
My boys are my whole world!  I love these guys:)
We had fun navigating the giant corn maze.

Here is our annual picture by the Peebles Farm sign.  It's fun to look back over the years and see how much they have grown.
 My sweet Tyson.

 And Jace:)
The boys were getting really tired of taking pictures by this time.  We had picked pecans, run all over the place, had snacks, and had a great day.
It was a perfect fall family day!!

Brothers

Just wanted to share some pictures of my boys being sweet!  There is lots of rough-housing at our house between these two, but we have some moments of sweetness mixed in.  And I caught one on camera:)

County Fair

We broke down and finally took the boys to the county fair this year.  We have been holding out for the past few years, mostly just to avoid spending the crazy money.  They absolutely loved it!!  They have never ridden on any rides before, so this would be the year to get them going.  The first thing we put them on was the kiddie swings.  Tyson was sooo excited....swinging is one of his all time favorite things, so he could not wait to ride.  Jace was another story.  That thing started moving and the poor baby just freaked out.  His face turned beet red and he started screaming.  He didn't calm down after they had gone around a few times, and the poor guy operating the ride kept looking at us to see if we wanted him to stop the ride.  Silas just waved him off and said "He will be fine!"  All the other parents just stared at us while we let our poor 3 year old freak out on the ride.  I felt like the worst parent ever!!  Of course the second his feet touched the ground I asked him what he thought of it and that little stinker yelled....I loved it!!!
The carousel was next up.  Both boys loved it as well.  It was a perfect night to enjoy the fair and we spent the next few hours working our way from ride to ride, running into tons of friends from town, and letting the boys soak up the sights, sounds, and smells of their first fair.
Of course our favorite part was the food:)  Silas and I enjoyed a funnel cake and sweet tea, which did not disappoint!  We crammed in as many rides as possible and walked around until the boys were worn out.  They both said they loved it and a little roller coaster was their favorite ride.  I am excited that they liked the rides and look forward to many more fun trips to some amusement parks in the future:)

Football Fun

The boys have loved going to the Arkansas State football games this year.  They run around and have a ball tailgating, and love cheering at the game. I sure love these kinds of fun family activities:)
