Endurance
en*dur*ance
~The fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way
~The capacity of something to last or to withstand wear and tear
~The act, quality, or power of withstanding hardship or stress
stamina-durability-patience-staying power
Endure
Go through the darkness and come out the other side. When you think, I can't stand another minute of this, know that you can. When you can't take another moment of the pain or the fear, take another moment anyway. Like a diamond in the making, endure the heat and the pressure for what seems like eternity, and emerge with a new brilliance and clarity. When you think you've come to your end, dig deep and endure.
(adapted from a book I have called 365 words of well-being for Women by Rachel Snyder)
