H-O-W-L

Let 'em hear ya Howl!! Go Red Wolves! Have I mentioned how much I love football season?!! It's the best time of year:) Silas and I were so excited to take the boys to their first live football game this weekend. The ASU Red Wolves had their home opener against Memphis yesterday, and it was a great day for some football.

The weather was awesome and it turned out to be a perfect day. We packed the boys up after nap time and headed out to tailgate with some friends from church and their families. The boys loved running around playing with the kids, and Silas and I enjoyed eating some great food and hanging out in the sunshine.

We ran into tons of friends from church tailgating in various areas, and had fun hanging out with lots of different people. The boys had a blast. We even lost Jace at one point. He had wandered off, and we found him in a crowd of Memphis fans playing bean bag toss with some older men!! They were nice to him and treated him well:) We finally made it into the stadium and the boys loved all the music, the band, and excitement. The Red Wolf mascot rode out on the field on a motorcycle and the boys loved cheering and waving their flags like crazy when we scored. They had hot dogs and coke to top off the night.

We left at half time since we had been there for hours and it was getting late. I am so proud of how well the boys did! We had so much fun! It helped that we had a huge win too....lots to cheer for and be excited about! We are new ASU fans since we didn't go to school there, but it has been fun having a school in town to go watch and cheer on. Of course we still have lots of other college teams we love to see win every weekend too:) It was a great fall day filled with friends, football and food. Just what I needed after my crazy week:)
