8 days or less!!!
Just a quick update on the pregnancy front. I am 39 weeks and nothing is happening still. Im glad Ty is comfy hanging out and getting bigger, but I am anxious to meet him too:) My doctor told me he would be out of town for 4 days this week too...Wed through Sat, and I really want him to be the one to deliver the baby, so that is not good news. Anyway, he is having me come in on Tuesday the 17th to see if anything is progressing before he leaves, and if not, then hopefully I can hang in there a few more days until he gets back into town!! He said if I have not had him by my due date on the 23rd, then he will induce me.
I have really mixed emotions about this. I cannot wait for him to get here, but don't want to rush things either if he isn't ready to come out yet. On the other hand, 40 weeks has felt eternal and Im ready for the next part to begin!! Mostly I just want my doctor to be around for the grand finale, since he has been so supportive through my entire pregnancy, and I would really prefer not to have some stranger deliver my first baby. I know all these things are totally out of my control, which is why I have a hard time with them!! I am so excited I can't stand it, and am a little overwhelmed that I will be bringing home a baby in 8 days or less!! It just puts a big smile on my face every time I say that:)
I will also include some pictures of me here in my last days and big as ever, but it may take a few days. Silas and I went on a shopping spree this weekend and got a new computer, and I will have to download all my pictures again before I can post them. Im really excited about the new stuff, but it will take me a while to learn how to work it all!!

Hey, we're praying that Ty comes before Wednesday or that he just waits until the 23rd. We're praying really hard that he'll come before Dr goes on vacation. :)
Oh Lauren... I so feel your pain about your doc traveling. Mine did the same thing, he was headed out of town on a Tuesday around lunch time... and I really didn't care for his on call doc. So Sunday night I started walking, walking, and more walking. Monday morning my water broke but I wasn't in labor so they induced labor and Nathan was born around midnight that night, just in time for our doc to catch him, cut the cord, and head on his way :) I'll be praying that all works out, but most importantly for a healthy baby!
